In Memoriam ...

This past week marked the anniversaries of three tragic losses in the American manned space program: January 27 (Apollo 1 in 1967); January 28 (Space Shuttle Challenger in 1986); and February 1 (Space Shuttle Columbia in 2003). This is certainly a time for remembrance and also a time for looking ahead to make their sacrifices meaningful.
